Wild Garden Wellness: sound, breath, and somatic work with Laura Baker
“We are made of energy, sound, vibration and light. It is from whence we come and whereto we shall return.”

My life's work
I believe one of the greatest challenges of modern life is that we rarely slow down long enough to hear ourselves.
We live in a world that keeps us constantly moving, consuming, performing, and responding. Over time, it becomes easy to lose touch with our bodies, our own needs, and the voice underneath all of that noise.
Wild Garden Wellness bloomed from a desire to shift that.
My life's work is rooted in bringing ancient healing practices into modern life through sound, breath, and somatic work. These practices offer a way to work with the body and nervous system, not just the thinking mind, to reduce stress, release what we've been carrying, and create more capacity for the lives we actually want to live.
Because slowing down isn't the end goal. Living differently is.
When we create enough space to listen to the body, we begin to recognize our patterns, understand what we need, and hear our own voice more clearly. We can respond instead of react, make decisions from a more grounded place, and reconnect with who we are beneath the noise and expectations of the world around us.
This is why I believe sound, breath, and somatic work matter now more than ever. These practices may be ancient, but what they offer is deeply relevant to the way we live today: a way to regulate, reconnect, and return to ourselves.
Through Wild Garden Wellness, I blend sound, therapeutic breathwork, somatic practices, Reiki, and movement into an approach that works with the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. I've experienced firsthand how profoundly these practices can change the way we move through life, which is why my devotion to this work extends far beyond what I teach.
